Come on live music

The Leanna & The Jazz Collective performs every Tuesday from 5-7:30pm on the second floor of the Palm Springs Cultural Center. There are different sets and guests each week.

The Palm Springs Cultural Center offers weekly live music in the VIP lounge. Sunday brought Keisha D. to the Soulful Sundays stage, followed by Monday’s Mon Petit Salon and Tuesday’s Leanna and the Jazz Collective. NOTE: Mon Petit Salon will be closed for the remainder of August after Monday’s performance.

free movies for kids

Screening at the Mary Pickford Theatre "angry birds 2" This is the finale of their free summer movie series for kids from Monday, August 1st to Wednesday, August 4th.

The Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Committee has teamed up with the Mary Pickford Theatre to present this free summer film series for kids. This week, “Angry Birds 2” will be screened in theaters.

First Wednesday Art Walk

Backstreet Arts District "First Wednesday Art Walk" It will be held on the first Wednesday of every month from 5-8pm.

Wander through 13 unique galleries and studios while supporting the local arts community at this creativity-inspired event. Event attendees can also enjoy live entertainment, food and beverages.

Palm Springs International Piano Competition Presents: Christopher Richardson

Christopher Richardson performs Beethoven's Concerto No. 4 in G major during the Waring International Piano Competition on Monday, April 18, 2022, at the McCallum Theater in Palm Desert, California.

The Palm Springs International Piano Competition (formerly The Waring) announced the premiere of Christopher Richardson’s Coachella Valley repertoire. A three-time Waring winner (concerto and solo), Richardson has just emerged from a European tour and will be performing at Arlen’s The Wizard of Oz, Can’t Help Falling in Love and The Uehara Tom and Jerry Show.

MasterPiece MashUp Closing Dinner

Tysen Knight demonstrates his passion for art direction.

Street urban artist Tysen Knight presents his latest work in the “MasterPiece MashUp” exhibition. The closing dinner will include a screening of Knight’s second documentary, The Art of Loud: Homeless Street Artists.

Hear a variety of tribute bands on The Rock Yard outdoor concert stage every weekend. This weekend will feature Oasis tribute band Oasus on Friday and Rock Yard on Saturday on Steroids. Food and beverages are available for purchase. 18+.
