This CaptureOne 22 15.2.0 update is free for existing users and offers a new set of controls for adjusting perspective with new automatic settings for Lightroom tools.
Lightroom has long had an advantage over Capture one when it comes to automatic keystone correction. This is ideal for fixing convergence vertical lines and other perspective issues, but the Capture One 22 15.2.0 update fills that gap and goes a step further.
The Keystone Tool redesign in Capture One now provides two tabs, a guide and a slider, to facilitate automatic and manual adjustments. Capture One can now automatically detect and fix perspective, which has been one of Lightroom’s strengths.
Capture One can now automatically modify vertical keystones, horizontal keystones, or both. In addition, there is a new integrated loupe for fine tuning. This needs to be surprisingly accurate for keystone correction. You can use the arrow keys to fine-tune the control points.
In addition, the 15.2.0 update introduces new “skew” adjustments to fix issues with particularly tricky perspectives, such as the façade in front of the building. Previously, keystone adjustments could leave a small but uncorrectable “skew”. This can now be fixed.
New in the Capture One 2215.2.0 update
Capture One has improved M1 Mac performance, improved preview generation speed by up to 100%, Luma Mask rendering by up to 300%, and Fujifilm X-Trans’s raw loading by up to 100%.
You can now set the duration of your Capture One LIVE session to 1, 3, 5, 7, or 14 days, improve the software’s auto-rotate feature, and have the clipping tool snap to a new aspect ratio immediately. .. These are some of the many usability and feature improvements in this update.
