The acclaimed Scandinavian antique dealer Dienst + Dotter Antikviteter has begun a new project in a showroom in New York City. Award-winning actress and director duo Haley Bennett and Joe Wright have collaborated on a new exhibition celebrating the holiday celebration. The “Remnant …” installation captures a party that has just ended, with the remains of delight. Scandinavian antiques line the windows and the theatrical paintings of the moonlit Swedish town are the perfect backdrop. Be sure to stop by 411 Lafayette Street and see for yourself. Bottega Veneta opens a shop in Soho

Last week, luxury retailer Bottega Veneta opened the door to New York’s first outpost in SoHo. Custom flooring, furniture and details make this shop a destination for design enthusiasts. Highlights include seats made from folded aluminum (designed by Vanderbeke Andreu), mirror frames of volcanic glaze (made by Italian artisans in the Saddi workshop), and handcast glass (Venetian artisans). Made by) is included. For artwork, Bottega decided to stay local in collaboration with Brooklyn-based timber worker Vonnegut / Kraft. He created shoe fixtures, front door handles, and more.

Rug Icon Ben Soleimani Launches 12,000 Square Foot Flagship Store in New York

Ben Soleimani, a highly regarded LA rug dealer, has opened its flagship store in Manhattan and moved east. This move will take place in 2019 after Solei Mani expands from rugs to a complete range of household products. The NYC store features 12,000 square feet of storefronts across three floors. Its products include contemporary handmade carpets, furniture, lighting, textiles and decorations, as well as an outstanding collection of antique rugs. Free interior design services range from initial sketches to wearing white gloves.

Mackage opens a sophisticated new Aspen outpost

Known for its sleek and durable outerwear design, Mackage has opened a seasonal pop-up shop in Aspen for the winter. “I was inspired by the landscape and terrain of Aspen and combined the structure and feel of Mackage’s products, especially the down system,” interior designer Sarah Coleman tells ADPRO. “I wanted to create a calm yet comfortable and warm space. I wanted to use a lot of recycled materials to make it playful and sophisticated.”
