A description of the text provided by the architect. Golden Reflections is a home near the artistic Lyceum on one of Tirana’s main roads, Lugae El Basanit. Like most homes built in the last 20 years in Albania, especially Tirana, the ground floor is used for retail spaces such as shops and cafes. The 8th floor of the upper floor accommodates various apartments with a total of 17 floors, and the 2nd basement floor is used as a parking lot.

The top floor consists of only one large luxury condominium. All levels are accessible from the stairs in the center of the building. On the 6th floor, the volume will be reduced, creating a roof terrace for residents of that floor. Given the location of the building, we offer a high standard of apartment facilities aimed at adding quality to the resident’s living experience.

The curved corners emphasize the continuous lines along the street, while respecting the scale and quality of the surroundings, but at the same time represent an impressive counterpoint with existing buildings in the area. While developing the concept of volume, adapt it to meet the requirements of the site, promote more efficient urban intervention without changing the density of the area, and therefore change the local urban density parameters. plug.

The resulting building footprint allowed us to design different types of apartments on each floor, providing future residents with the opportunity to choose dynamic spatial quality and desired apartment type. The building system consists of a reinforced concrete structure and brick walls. This is the most common and traditional method in the region, but curtain wall cladding systems are rarely used, especially in this type of building. Therefore, one of the main features of the building, and perhaps the most eye-catching, is the cladding of the façade.

Golden glass tiles of various shades and nuances are used throughout the exterior to create a mosaic-like design that reflects light beautifully, with each element enhancing the huge exterior of the building. The black Alcobond panel is used to accentuate the horizontal stripes and contrast with the rest of the volume. These materials and their textures add solidity and consistency to the visual aspects of the project, providing a uniform yet diverse façade design.

The ground floor storefront combines the right signs, lights, colors, materials and windows to create a sense of unity, show the brand of the entire building and provide a great pedestrian experience.
