Use a third-party application

You can also use a third-party app on your device to edit the images. Apps like Canva, Pixlr, Snapseed, PicsArt, etc., are popular on Android and iPhone. You can use any of these apps to add text or edit images. The cherry on top of such apps is that they give you more features than your device’s built-in editor.

It’s also free to download from your respective device store, but they may charge you if you want extra features. The disadvantages of such applications are that they consume more memory and affect battery health. So, if your device has less memory, it might struggle to perform well.

However, you can also use the web version to edit images, and you don’t need to install an app.
