IMC builds on showroom lineup with latest update

HIGH POINT – International Market Centers is expanding its nearly 600 High Point Market furniture and home décor offerings, with nine more showroom updates in April featuring fresh furniture, décor, fixed-wire lighting and textiles.

These additions bring the total number of new, expanded and relocated showrooms to 21, which will open across eight High Point buildings in the city centre.

“High Point Market is a fantastic opportunity for designers and retailers to source unique furniture and decor that brings great design to life,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president and chief revenue officer at IMC.

The four new showrooms are Belle Meade at 121 North Hamilton (bedrooms, dining room and occasional work done at High Point); Newton Coley at Market Square Tower (luxury interiors made in North Carolina); Market Square Suites at Newton Coley Schonbek (a handmade fixed-line lamp made in New York); and Zoy Home Furnishings (sofa and chairs) at Plaza Suites.

The three expansions are Kuka North America (upholstered furniture) adding a second location at Furniture Square, Regal Fabrics (original copyrighted patterned furniture fabrics) at Market Square Tower and Spectra Home (fabric and leather seating) at Market Square Tower 200 North Hamilton.

In addition, the DiGiò leather sofa (a sofa made in Italy) was relocated from the International Home Furnishing Center to a larger showroom in the Furniture Square.

The brand also used High Point Market to launch new divisions, including Tov Furniture (contemporary furniture) launching The Voices Collection, which features more than 20 SKUs designed by black designers.

These updates add to the 13 showroom additions, expansions and relocations previously announced by IHFC and InterHall.

Four new showrooms are Accent Décor, Flair Enterprises, Global Home USA and Kalco Lighting; six expansions are Bellini Modern Living, Frank Thomas Art, Magnussen Home, Modway Furniture, MotoSleep and Rugs America; three relocations are Bougainvillea, Celadon Art and Lite Source.
