The Interiors production leader is responsible for collaboration in all aspects of the interior and exterior views and design and construction process of a building project, managing workflow and reviewing building plans to ensure the project includes the appropriate finishes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing, coordinating and managing projects through all phases of interior and exterior views, complete scheduling and communication with contractors, including site visits.
Manage multiple projects and clients.
Prepare finishing schedules.
Meet with clients, consultants, contractors and building officials on behalf of the company as the job requires.
Library building, organizing, cataloging and management.
Interface with representatives to keep libraries up to date.
Participate in business development efforts.
Collaborate with Project Architect and Owner in business development, client management and drafting proposals.
Execute architectural drawings, renderings and design assignments.
Complete project manual.
Lead coordination of consultants from all disciplines for assigned projects.
Provide supervision and monitoring of the work performed by junior staff.
Schedule and ensure that Quality Control reviews are completed and performed prior to submission of any deliverable.
Establish and execute project work plan and staffing requirements.
Verify calculations and determine appropriateness of supporting documentation.
Work closely with founders in providing feedback on project management and deliverable schedules.
Other duties as assigned:
Provide input to The Brown Studio, Inc Founders and Project Architect in design operations.
Job Requirements: Education and/or Experience:
Graduate of architecture or design school
5+ years of experience
Ability to travel as required
Strong pursuit of continuing education

Working knowledge of CDs and procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Ability to develop, evaluate and manage project budgets, schedule and meet deadlines and client expectations.
Knowledge of the design and construction process, applicable building codes, detailing methods and product specification methods.
Time and cost driven.
Excellent management skills (project and people management).
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead junior staff through a combination of direct instruction and subject matter expertise.
Communicate effectively with others, including giving and receiving feedback on the quality of services.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to connect and maintain effective relationships with founders, staff, consultants and partners in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to accept responsibility for own professional development
Detail-oriented, logical and methodological approach to problem solving.
Flexible, with the ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment.
Advanced Revit skills
Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
Language skills: Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
