When considering a colorful dining table, wood stains are a great option for adding warm, sophisticated and pop colors. It’s the ideal solution for those who aren’t ready to make bold decisions.
“If you choose a stained glass finish, the particles on the table can be seen through, allowing you to preserve the rich colors while admiring the natural beauty of the solid wood top,” said L. Ercolani’s director. Henry Tadros advises.
When it comes to styling, Henry recommends: “Use complementary colors and don’t make too much noise so that the table stays in focus in the room.”

Ercolani, as Henry explains, is available in a variety of shades from Stain’s Modern Tone Collection company, “Subtly Reinventing the Brand’s Heritage Through Modernist Colors.” .. “The new palette harmoniously complements our famous high-quality structures and natural materials, bringing new life to the classics of my great-grandfather Lucien Elcolani,” he adds.
2. Choose a design that uses unexpected colors
“After the release of bell coffee and side tables by Sebastian Herkner, launched by ClassiCon in 2012, we noticed a growing interest in colorful tables,” says Daniel Alam, managing director of Alam.
The growing demand for this color continued during the popularity of mid-century design, where naturally colored wood and materials were the mainstream. “The growing demand for more colors probably reflects the desire to move away from the more mainstream, natural finishes that tend to dominate. The occasional popularity of tables reflects the variety of color options. I saw the introduction of a dining table with a glass base in the room, “explains Daniel.
The LC6 table, $ 4492.67 / £ 3,409, Le Corbusier, Janeret & Perriand and Cassina at Alam are the perfect way to combine mid-century style with contemporary color injection. Victoria Wilmotte from ClassiCon, Patricia Urquiola’s Liquefy color glass table from Glass Italia, and Jean Nouvel’s NVL lacquered table from MDF Italia.
When asked how to style the LC6 table, Daniel suggests: In open-plan living spaces, this color tip is often complemented by a sofa, lighting, or other parts of similar colors or tones.

The Two Color table was a collaborative process between Hay and design duo Muller Van Severen. They are “known for their bold color choices, which is one of the reasons we are fans of their work,” Rolf adds.
When asked about future plans for vibrant design, Rolf said:

I especially love how, as the heart of the tablescape, you can actually define how to dress up your table for a dinner party. This is a beautiful highlight to entertain guests. “
“For me, an impressive colorful dining table is best combined with more neutral accessories (plates, placemats, napkins) or enhanced with maximum detail (color to match the table),” she said. Adds.
The invisible collection has an ever-evolving roster of designers. Isabelle extends this by welcoming all the impressive color injections into the project, including Campbell Ray, Vincent Dale, Chloenegre and Lola Gonzalez.
