About Hobbs’ groundbreaking work “Fidenza”

According to Tyler Hobbs, “Fidenza is the most versatile generation algorithm to date. It’s not that complicated, but the core structure of the algorithm is very flexible and versatile enough to continuously produce amazing results. Enables sex. “

Inspired by the abstract expressionist artist Francis Klein, Fidenza, named after a small town in northern Italy, has captured the imagination of art collectors around the world. A total of 999 NFTs have been removed. It sold out at 0.17 ETH each in 25 minutes, with sales of about $ 400,000. This is a set of preselected colors that work together. Undoubtedly, the underlying technology of Fidenza is as interesting as the artwork itself.

About his artistic process

“For me, my artwork is entirely programming. I don’t draw by hand, use Photoshop, or post-edit my work,” says Hobbs. 21st century creative Podcast.

Hobbs also pointed out that when creating generative art, artists create programs to create artwork. Therefore, by choosing color, aesthetics and pattern preferences, artists work with technology to express themselves.

To give collectors an understanding of the process, Tyler Hobbes provides snapshots of the program in the artwork. This is primarily because Hobbs is considering coding important parts of the artwork.

Generative art has been around since the 1960s, but artists like Tyler Hobbes are undoubtedly taking the genre to new heights. Thanks to the popularity of NFTs, unconventional artists can educate people about generative art more than ever and show everyone how technology and art can really coexist.
